the king of thieves

Leona wasn’t looking at him, she brought her hands up to her face, to wipe some tears away before she looked at him, “You must not have seen the two large walls.” She said she was looking over her shoulder, “Past those walls is the small village, we are close to Kul Elna, but you are in mine village.” She said, with a sniffle, she had to get away from him before he saw her cry.
She stood proud and strong in her village, it was where guards and knights come to train with the elders, her father was an elder a tough, strict elder, he taught her how to be brave, how to fight if needed, her mother taught her how to care for an injuries, She looked down at his foot, “Your hurt?.” She asked, tilting her head to the side.
“Kul Elna, so your a survivor to huh.” She said, with a small smile on her face. She then dug through her bag for some bandages, not that he would let her touch his foot, but she had them in case he needed them. She set the Bandages on a nearby rock, “You shouldn’t be on that foot, while your hurt.” She said, before getting on her beloved horse.
Maybe if she hurried she could make it to the house for the little girl went to bed, she never broke a promise she always kept them. “Until we meet again, Thief King, I hope someday, you will trust me enough to know your name.” She said lightly tapping the sides of her horse who begun to walk away from him.

Closing his eyes he tried to visualize any memories of knowing this female thief. There were none to his knowledge nor he dared keep track with many children his age by choice. Clinging into the abyss shadows was always a welcome reminder as a mis fit he wandered down the loner path. Having a few friends, but but many of his people often showed some fear with the ridiculous idea of him being cursed and jeered by being born with white hair. At the age of 4 his parents found some kind of liquid that permanently stained it towards purple so none of the other Tomb Raiders saw him as omen where a demon spawned inside him. It seemed to work regardless of his aggressive nature when he played with the other kids, during break time if not dealing with work.
To conquer the lonieliness he worked on sparring with another male friend who happened to be a tomb builder and seemed to understand him, the other having platinum spikey blonde hair with distinguished tattoos running across his eyes. They became close friends, and did almost everything together, but later on somehow they separated. Afeika believed his friend may have met his end against the pharoah wrath. Whether the rumors flowing were true a powerful spirit did live in him, but the male deceive others by allowing it to lay dormant. As a small child at the time it didnt really faze him, and often was forgotten. The resurfacing of the reptilian snake demon spawned after his loss acting like an guardian. Then Diabound power flourished once his confrontation with the pharoah was destined to revive Afeika need for revenge, with the darkness fulfilling his soul on venengence.
Afeika was taking in all of those words that she said. Shock spread over his features realizing he wasnt the lone survivor, like he envisioned for many years. Disbelief not once bestowed on the fact she could be lying as secretly with the millennium ring he was reading her soul, which forced back towards the dismal energy of painful memories of voices, curses, screams and shreiks then finally dead silence. Lifting the magic off the ring he felt the burning pain of reality from his ankle. Breathing in the fact that she dared to try to help as his proud ego was crumbling . which not only ticked him off. As a survivor his core goal was to never accept help from anyone. His eyes trialed on the bandages on the rock, shifted forward as he stashed it in his robe. So she was a survivor also, but did she know him? That feeling still.pondered his soul, whether they were strangers or not the idea of another thief stating they lived in the same place and was a sole survivor caught his interest and he wasnt about to let her get away. Disbelief wore off his features as he noticed the horse about to leave. He studied her features, devising to make a stand, stepped forward as he put himself in front of her house.
“I’m Afeika.” Perhaps the name rung a bell or not Bakura didnt much care as his interest in this female was wanting to know her history.
this is so dumb but i can’t stop thinking about the big duel vs yami marik and how when they lost life points, they lost parts of their bodies. and i keep wondering what would have happened if they’d played a card that pushed their life points over 4000. yugi grows another leg. marik’s got 3 thumbs now.
Yami Malik got over 4000 life points when he summoned Ra and merged with him. Nothing happened due to the rules that were put in place for the shadow game. Only the loser begins parts of their body. However in the manga they lose chunks of their body.
Leona gasped when he grabbed her shoulders, her right shoulder had a scar from her village burning down, as she barely made it out herself. But no one saw it, only lucky ones saw the scar, it was easy to hide, but it was still slightly noticeable as it went from her middle of right side of her neck to the right shoulder, She looked away from him as she thought about something to say. her scar on her neck is seen by him because of how her next is turned and how close they were.
Her face was a little red at how close they were, evening though he was trapping her there, she couldn’t help but have a red face.
She looked at him, “No way.” She said glaring at him, “I don’t have a date with a boyfriend, more like a little girl and her parents.” She said, looking away again, Yeah, she was a thief but she
She slowly brought her hand to her neck, covering the scar, she wasn’t going to let him see it. “I won’t give you these, I am not your pawn.” She said, glaring back at him, Most guys that seen her gold eyes, normally want her because her eyes were like gems that sparkled in sun and when she was happy.
She blinked a few times before getting serious, “Let me go or else.” She said, glaring at him still, She waited for him to let her go, but she had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be that easy. She didn’t want to hurt him but she might have no choice, she continued to hide her scar, her hand shook as her memories came back to her, the flames, the screams, then the silence.
She had to get away from him before he saw a weak side of her, that involves her crying, she doesn’t let anyone see that side of her. Evening her black beauty(Her horse) has a scar on her face, that scar took up half her left side of her face, she was lucky to still have use in her left eye.
She looked at him again with the corner of her eye, her gaze was softened and it was clear like she was about to cry. She pushed him away from her with her foot, once he let go, she fell from the lack of balance. She fell to her knees, but she didn’t stay down for long, she got up and ran for the door, her bag still on her shoulder.
She didn’t stop, till she got to her horse, she pulled it with her as she ran, she didn’t have time to get on, she had to put distance between her and him, As she ran she looked behind her to see if he was around. She got on her horse and continued on with her run, there was no way she could make it to the house. She felt bad but she will make it up to them, She left the village, she went to her small village, she had to go through the destroyed village of El Kulna
She looked around at all the destroyed houses, She walked through the village, it didn’t take her long to get to her village, She got to the once was walls that marked the entrance of the village. She got off her horse, she held the reins as she walked through the once village, Why did she come here, there was nowhere to hide from him here. “Yeah, Leona come to this village for shelter.” She said to herself in a sarcastic tone, she sighed.
The Bandit King was hoping to make her see the real picture and frighten her to give up the items. While it was just a scare tactic his menacly gaze seemed to lessen as he had never seen her face red even though he was the culprit to force it that way. While he had her pinned to the wall his violent eyes glanced into her gold eyes This side to her before was interesting and he slowly began to feel some sort of sympathy if that was even possible. Taking in her expression he read an mysterious pain and other things that might have stung through her eyes. It was almost like a memory that he didn’t know even existed. She may try to hide it, but he knew there was something she tried to keep away from him. Her words weren’t any of intererest as his one track mind was after the items and no amount of persuasion would touch his heart either. For a moment he relented his hold on her. His mistake was that she used it as an advantage to flee from him.
Afeika rolled his eyes getting absolutely annoyed that once again she took off. Trailing her down was getting tedious due to his ankle throbbing and he knew that having his horse for transportation was a better chance of catching up.
He thought back reading her expression and then his eyes leveling on her scar which the girl kept trying to cover it. Afeika didn’t think it held any significance, but he was wondering if this wild goose chase was even worth it. For now he needed to rest.
The bandit got off his horse once he entered his village. The shrouded voices, and horrible memories of rehashing painful thoughts took a tow on him. Fear was striking his core as he took a deep breath. This moment would always linger on since he came to live in El Kulna. The nightmare would always be fresh in his mind and he found that he could never leave this place. No matter how much he tried, but that nagging feeling would venture forward and erupt his mixed mind over things.
Doing his best to ignore it he walked through not once paying attention to the damaged villages as his ankle began to burn from him still walking on it. Clenching his teeth sharply he felt another presence as he stood frozen at that moment. The same female thief seem to have made refuge in his territory which threw him with deep speculation. Anger was rushing through his entire core as he walked right up to her. “What the hell are you doing in El Kulna? This is my territory.” His tone was really defensive as he felt he would fight for his home if needed.
post!DSOD Thief King design (i LOVED DSOD but im also a sucker for redemption arcs sooo)
Leona smiled, she was sitting on her bed holding three small but big rocks in her hand, “Wow, I made a mockery out of the king of thieves.” She said, with a serious look on her face, she never really had visitors so her hideout is a bit messy, She may be a girl, but she was no lady when it came to keeping things clean.
She stood up, “So you tracked me down just because I made a mockery of you?.” She asked, tilting her head to the side, She kept her eyes on him, every so often looking down at his chest, this is what happens when your chest is open, He was a tease.
She cleared her throat, “So if that’s all you came for, message received.” She said, looking at him still, She heard stuff about this guy, he wasn’t one for being around people. She had let a family get attached to her, she may be a thief but she still had her sweet, caring side. She had helped a family when she first showed herself to the village. They have a 4-year daughter, in a way, the little child reminds her of her 2-year old little sister who never got her birthday.
She promised them that she would come over for dinner. “I have plans, so I need to get going, So I need to ask you to leave.” She said, looking at him, waiting for him to say something. She was bold and could just walk out on him again. But, she didn’t want to danger the family in case he followed her.
She looked at him, “So We will talk later.” She said with a nod. She grabbed her bag that carried the two-millennium items she stole there was no way she was going to leave it around here. She didn’t know how he was going to react to her leaving, He could grab her or block her way, there was no telling what he could do to stop her from leaving
She made a shooing motion with her hand to him, “Come on, out you go.” She said, looking at him waiting for him to move or something. “I really mean it, I have plans, I am having dinner with someone and I am late.” She said as she started to head for the door. She was like in good arm length of him. She hoped that he was going to leave like she wants him too. He couldn’t stay in her hideout, it was her home.
As he entered her underground lair the bandit king noticed the crumbling aging stairs, darknen walls and the untidiness the cave like structure provided him. Few bread crumbs, and other various things that he didn’t care to think was mixed up in her place. Not much for him to judge as his hideout was the deserted El Kulna secluded underground that many believed was haunted by evil spirits. He kept it reasonably clean since it was still the last memory of his hometown and out of respect for the dead. There were certain times that he would silently speak with them, but it was only when he was feeling lonely.
Afeika stomped forward his thundering foot steps echoing as he walked. The swinging millenium ring around his neck was cleverly out of sight by its special ability to remain invisible. It was the first thing was taking precaution before even entering her lair. He wasn’t stupid knowing that she already gained two of the millenium items and there was no way he call attention of letting her get a glance at his item. The Bandit King narrowed his violet eyes as he noticed her relaxed, but condescending attitude.
“Don’t be stupid. I tracked your ass down because you have two items that are the last memories and reminder of my family. Nevermind any other reason, but if you think I’m letting you leave this cave with them your sadly mistaken.” Afeika scoffed crossing his tan arms sighing as the female eyes once again seemed to trail down towards his chest. He never understand why she had trouble keeping eye contact with him. At least she wasn’t trying to sneak a peek up his skirt so he remained calm and drew a few inches closer inside the entrance clanging the rings on his fingers against the sides of the walls sharply.
Resorting to use Diabound wasn’t in the cards as he didn’t want to waste his time on another thief. Still he was cautious on her approach towards him as he noticed that she was armed with rocks when he saw the sandy blonde perched on her bed earlier.
Observing her closely he eyed the bag and simply just ignored her words. His mind was reeling with action instead of words. Gritting his teeth he continued to block her path, but as she came towards close contact with him he couldn’t take it anymore. Smirking sardonically his ringed fingers seizing a hold on her shoulders as he pinned her roughly against the wall his knee trapping her. “Sorry, but your boy friend is going to miss his date unless you just hand me the items right now.” He warned. If she tried anything remotely stupid like hit him or physically harm him he have no problem cutting her with a knife that he kept discreetly stashed away on one of the gold bracelets on his ankle.
